Welcome

Become a part of the old Vanilla world. Set up your client according to our guide.

If you have any questions, read the FAQ first. In case you don’t find the answer, you can try asking on our IRC.

Most our services are to be found on the web page of the TwinStar project, under which Kronos belongs.

Account Manager

In order to play on Kronos, you need a game account created in the account manager.

Account manager also contains many useful features like the character auction or donate system. You can purchase Stars through the donate system, and for these Stars you can then buy special mounts, pets or tabards that cannot be obtained in-game.
You cannot buy any gear this way!
However, in our character auction you can spend your Stars on characters that were leveled up by Kronos players.

Forum

On our forum you can take part in numerous lively discussions, suggest improvements for the server or comment on what you don’t like.
There are also various videos from our players, guides, sections dedicated to both PVE and PVP and many others.

If you encounter a player violating server rules by misbehaving, abusing a bug etc., you can (and are obliged to) report him to the forum Blacklist.

If you want to become a part of the community you need to create a separate forum account. With this account you can also log in to our TwinHEAD database.

Armory

Kronos has its own Armory, where you can search for characters, guilds and various statistics like Honor ranking.

The armory contains a talent calculator.

TwinHead

It’s our gaming database, where you can find information concerning NPCs, quests, zones etc. It includes plenty of features: Bosskills, detailed statistics from every instance encounter, changelog and much more.

It is also a place where you are supposed to report bugs you find in-game (and only them!) – malfunctioning quests, NPCs, items, spells etc.

Showcase: Group Loot Fixes
Changelog 10.08.2014 – 17.08.2014

Dear players,

yet another week has passed. This time around we have a Video showing you a variety of common private server issues that will not harm your gameplay experience on Kronos, chief among them is the fully functioning Group Loot mechanic.

Here are the few basic rules of Group Loot that you will find working on Kronos:
* Every player only gets access to an NPC’s loot on his turn. In a five player party that means every fifth mob.
* Items of the same or higher quality as the currently set loot threshold will be rolled for by all party members. Every player can open the loot window of NPCs that dropped such items to start the rolling process but do not get access to any of the other loot unless it is their turn to loot this NPC.
* When a player opens the loot window but does not take any or all items and then closes the loot window, the loot will become available to the rest of the party on a free for all basis.

In addition to this we were able to resolve the issue were roll bars would immediately disappear, causing most players or even an entire group to pass on the item.
During the last week we had several team meetings to discuss and finalize some of the yet unsettled technicalities [read: experience rates, character restore] concerning the upcoming Kronos. You will find the answers to these questions as well as various others in a new FAQ that will be released during the following week.

As you by now have come to expect, this news item also includes our weekly changelog. Among this weeks notable improvements is the now fully functioning Six Demon Bag, a gimmicky and fun item which many players may fondly remember from their retail days. The Rogue’s spell Distract should from now on also behave in an entirely blizz-like manner and Hunter traps will no longer be cancelled when Horde or Alliance Battle Standards are placed in their area of effect. Both of these fixes are in our opinion important, especially for PVP enthusiasts. In addition to this various on item effects have been fixed, such as Eskhandar’s four piece set proc, the use of Jom Gabbar for shape-shifted druids as well as Green Whelp Armor’s sleep. Last but not least, Basic Campfire will no longer be a solid object that players can stand on and thus be exploited to get to otherwise unreachable positions. In addition to this we managed to get some extensive work done on our completely rewritten damage and combat systems.
