Account Manager

In order to play on Kronos, you need a game account created in the account manager.

Account manager also contains many useful features like the character auction or donate system. You can purchase Stars through the donate system, and for these Stars you can then buy special mounts, pets or tabards that cannot be obtained in-game.
You cannot buy any gear this way!
However, in our character auction you can spend your Stars on characters that were leveled up by Kronos players.

Forum

On our forum you can take part in numerous lively discussions, suggest improvements for the server or comment on what you don’t like.
There are also various videos from our players, guides, sections dedicated to both PVE and PVP and many others.

If you encounter a player violating server rules by misbehaving, abusing a bug etc., you can (and are obliged to) report him to the forum Blacklist.

If you want to become a part of the community you need to create a separate forum account. With this account you can also log in to our TwinHEAD database.

Armory

Kronos has its own Armory, where you can search for characters, guilds and various statistics like Honor ranking.

The armory contains a talent calculator.

TwinHead

It’s our gaming database, where you can find information concerning NPCs, quests, zones etc. It includes plenty of features: Bosskills, detailed statistics from every instance encounter, changelog and much more.

It is also a place where you are supposed to report bugs you find in-game (and only them!) – malfunctioning quests, NPCs, items, spells etc.

Dear Players,

as promised in Sunday’s news post here is the new FAQ. Should you have questions that are not addressed within this FAQ you may ask them in the Forums. However, be advised that some questions may not be answered for a variety of reasons.


When will the Server be launched?

Our current plan is to launch Kronos before the end of the year.

Where is Kronos hosted?

Kronos is part of the TwinStar Project, which is hosted in Central Europe.

What experience rates will be offered on Kronos?

The Experience rate will be x1 , with an option to turn off experience gain altogether for low-level PvP alts.

What about gold and drop rates?

There will be no alterations to gold or drop rates.

What kind of donation rewards will there be?

Donation rewards are limited to vanity rewards, such as mounts (not however the riding skill) and non-combat pets.

Will the Auction Houses be linked?

Currently we have no plans to link the two faction’s Auction Houses.

In what order and timeframe will the content be released?

The currently planned release schedule can be found here. Regarding the overall timeframe we can really only say that we will figure it out as we go along. That being said, you will not have to wait long for Black Wing Lair and Zul’Gurub.

What about the previously mentioned character restore?

The previously mentioned character restore will not happen. After lengthy discussions our team has come to the conclusion that we can, unfortunately, not deliver on this promise to our old players. Should the next iteration of Kronos be a success, and we are getting more and more confident that it will be, we simply do not want to risk this success by giving the player-base a reason for a huge divide with potentially disastrous results. We apologize dearly to our veteran players but hope that you will give the new Kronos a shot anyway.

Is multi-boxing allowed?

Unlike on the other TwinStar realms, multi-boxing that utilizes additional software of any kind, be it complete all in one multi-boxing tools or a simple key cloner is banned on Kronos.

Will there be Character Transfers from other Servers?

Characters Transfers from other Servers will never be possible.

What about features such as free skills up to a certain level or reduced respec costs?

As we are going with x1 leveling rates there will also be no free skills offered. Respec costs will be reduced to a maximum of 10 Gold, to enable players a more flexible play-style and encourage a high level of participation in PvP.

What about cheating and abuses such as duping?

We have a working Warden in place as well as several other mechanics that will hopefully prevent all cheating. In addition all kinds of abuses known to us are already being prevented on our current test realm and we are working as hard as possible to reduce the number of available abuses to near zero.

What is your plan to deal with DDoS attacks?

As Kronos is a part of the much larger TwinStar project and the TwinStar server environment is about as protected against DDoS attacks as it can get, this will hopefully never be an issue.

Is there any possibility for Beta testing server?

Our current team of testers is already quite extensive. However, if you are serious about involvement in testing you visit our IRC channel and hope somebody will pay attention ;).

If we deem it necessary we may also have a public beta before launch.
