Welcome

Become a part of the old Vanilla world. Set up your client according to our guide.

If you have any questions, read the FAQ first. In case you don’t find the answer, you can try asking on our IRC.

Most our services are to be found on the web page of the TwinStar project, under which Kronos belongs.

Account Manager

In order to play on Kronos, you need a game account created in the account manager.

Account manager also contains many useful features like the character auction or donate system. You can purchase Stars through the donate system, and for these Stars you can then buy special mounts, pets or tabards that cannot be obtained in-game.
You cannot buy any gear this way!
However, in our character auction you can spend your Stars on characters that were leveled up by Kronos players.

Forum

On our forum you can take part in numerous lively discussions, suggest improvements for the server or comment on what you don’t like.
There are also various videos from our players, guides, sections dedicated to both PVE and PVP and many others.

If you encounter a player violating server rules by misbehaving, abusing a bug etc., you can (and are obliged to) report him to the forum Blacklist.

If you want to become a part of the community you need to create a separate forum account. With this account you can also log in to our TwinHEAD database.

Armory

Kronos has its own Armory, where you can search for characters, guilds and various statistics like Honor ranking.

The armory contains a talent calculator.

TwinHead

It’s our gaming database, where you can find information concerning NPCs, quests, zones etc. It includes plenty of features: Bosskills, detailed statistics from every instance encounter, changelog and much more.

It is also a place where you are supposed to report bugs you find in-game (and only them!) – malfunctioning quests, NPCs, items, spells etc.

Team Meeting News and Notes

Greetings Kronos,
It has been awhile since our last community update and as you have seen a lot has happened, so we wanted to take some time to go through some of these things.

The Experience Event:

When the talk among the team first started about holding an experience event given the current time/place we were at with the War Effort and Ahn’Qiraj upcoming, we knew it would be controversial. We were in a position where it was the best time to try and bring new players to the community in time for the great war effort and the one time opening of the gates of Ahn’Qiraj. This incentive program had its detractors (as expected), but they were in the minority as overall the event was a huge success. We are very happy to report that many new players have come to make Kronos their home, and we’ve reached peaks of nearly 2000 players logged in at a time. We are very happy with the results of this limited time event, and are excited to see many new friendships and rivalries that the influx of new players calling Kronos home has started. So we’d like to take time out to thank both our existing population who stuck with us through this limited event, and welcome those who have joined our great community!

The Nightmare Dragon Shuffle:

Our initial intention was to have the nightmare dragons spawn all together, but as the community was made aware we ended up having to do one dragon at a time. We are happy to report that all four nightmare dragons are now linked to the same respawn timer and will all spawn at the same time in the four random locations. The world dragon releases mostly went off without issues, and there were often times 300+ players competing for the kill. This was great to see, and we were able to get a lot of great footage from these releases!

Kronos One Year Anniversary:

March marked the one year anniversary of the launch of Kronos. There are always going to be challenges, but we were quite happy with the success we’ve had in year one and are taking steps towards making improvements so that year two will be even better! There’s a lot to look forward to, and we’re excited for the future. We debated about throwing a weekend celebration, but in the end we decided that our best effort should be put towards both bug fixes and development.

New Team Members:

Weeks ago we began looking for new Game Masters. We’re happy to announce that we received a record number of applications. Thank you all for sending in applications and volunteering your time, without our staff volunteers the community experience on Kronos would be significantly impaired. We’re thrilled to announce that we brought in 6 new GMs to the team – Matheson, Cademus, Ilmus, Lightsky, Sloppyjoe, Kruxi. Our Game Masters work very hard to help promote community and to help the community solve problems that they run into, and we’re happy to have them as part of our team!

New Website!

One of our goals of 2016 was a new website. We’ve been hard at work on this project, and we’ve made good progress on it. The website will have some additional features and a new layout. We don’t have an eta on when it will launch, but we’re making steady progress. We have however done a little temporary revamp on some areas of our website that needed some TLC, including cleaning up and updating the rules of the server. You can find those here.

That’s it for this update, we’ll see you around Azeroth!
