Welcome

Become a part of the old Vanilla world. Set up your client according to our guide.

If you have any questions, read the FAQ first. In case you don’t find the answer, you can try asking on our IRC.

Most our services are to be found on the web page of the TwinStar project, under which Kronos belongs.

Account Manager

In order to play on Kronos, you need a game account created in the account manager.

Account manager also contains many useful features like the character auction or donate system. You can purchase Stars through the donate system, and for these Stars you can then buy special mounts, pets or tabards that cannot be obtained in-game.
You cannot buy any gear this way!
However, in our character auction you can spend your Stars on characters that were leveled up by Kronos players.

Forum

On our forum you can take part in numerous lively discussions, suggest improvements for the server or comment on what you don’t like.
There are also various videos from our players, guides, sections dedicated to both PVE and PVP and many others.

If you encounter a player violating server rules by misbehaving, abusing a bug etc., you can (and are obliged to) report him to the forum Blacklist.

If you want to become a part of the community you need to create a separate forum account. With this account you can also log in to our TwinHEAD database.

Armory

Kronos has its own Armory, where you can search for characters, guilds and various statistics like Honor ranking.

The armory contains a talent calculator.

TwinHead

It’s our gaming database, where you can find information concerning NPCs, quests, zones etc. It includes plenty of features: Bosskills, detailed statistics from every instance encounter, changelog and much more.

It is also a place where you are supposed to report bugs you find in-game (and only them!) – malfunctioning quests, NPCs, items, spells etc.

Naxxramas Dates – PTR, Scourge Invasion, and the Full Release!

Dear Community,

As the end of Q3 approaches, many of you are rightfully asking for an update on Naxxramas. We have finalized all of the release dates, times, and many of the small details that you have all been asking for. There has been a deviation from our originally announced timeline, but the delay is fairly short and the result is that Naxxramas will truly be the highest quality raid content we have ever released on Kronos. The full schedule is outlined in detail below, along with a calendar to help better visualize the timeline.

Friday September 15th (6pm ST) – Sunday September 24th (6pm ST)

  • The PTR will be closed for internal testing.

Wednesday September 27th (6pm ST) – Saturday September 30th (6pm ST)

  • Deathknight Wing will be open on the PTR.
  • The same rules and expectations from all other previous PTR events will apply, with only one raid ID per guild.
  • Sapphiron and Kel’Thuzad will not be available on our PTR at any time.

Sunday October 1st (6pm ST) – Sunday October 29th (6pm ST)

  • The Scourge Invasion patch will be live on Kronos

Saturday October 21st (7pm ST)

  • Naxxramas will be released on the live Kronos realm, in its entirety!

The release time and date for Naxxramas has been carefully chosen, allowing players from all around the world to compete in the long anticipated race for server first kills.

With the schedule clearly outlined above, we would like to address the discussions that have occurred over the past few months regarding difficulty tuning and balance. Clearly stated, our goal is to offer a Naxxramas experience that emulates the original experience as best as possible. After reviewing a tremendous amount of community feedback and considering many of the advantages that players have today, we believe the following changes will offer the best experience.

  • World buffs will be disabled upon entering Naxxramas. They may be re-instated at some point in the future.
  • A small damage and hp boost will be applied to all “trash” NPCs.
  • Some specific bosses will have small damage and HP boosts applied.

We are being incredibly careful about how we approach each boss encounter. We want changes to be meaningful, while also considering the impact each change has on the community as a whole. Not all bosses will be modified as we believe some are already well balanced. Armor and spell resistance values will not be changed, and we will not make invisible changes.

Thank you all once again for your feedback during testing, your thoughtful discussions, and your unwavering patience.
